Abstract Aim Paediatric orthopaedics conditions are often managed in the outpatient department (OPD) setting. Due to lack of official coding for these minor procedures our OPD, hospital receives neither financial benefit nor evidence a formal auditing process. With Get It Right First Time (GIRFT) report underway, we have looked at building pathway paediatric interventions OPD. Method The number orthopaedic were collated and grouped 6-month period, clinical outcome form was created accordingly. After consulting with department, cost analysis prospective earnings conducted, as well comparisons current standard tariff rates OPD attendance.
